½ cup sugar
¾ cup butter, softened
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon almond
extract
1 ½ cups flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine sugar, butter, egg yolk and almond extract in a large bowl. Beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Slowly add flour and cocoa until well mixed.
Shape cookies as desired and place one inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake 7-9 minutes. Allow to cool then decorate as desired.
